J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited has been awarded a major infrastructure contract valued at ₹1,020.70 crore by the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO), according to a regulatory filing made today.
The shares of J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited were trading at ₹700.25 up by ₹22.60 or 3.34 per cent on the NSE today at 12.28 pm.
The company received a Letter of Acceptance for the “Design and Construction of Coastal Road from Jalmarg Sector-16, Kharghar to PMAY Housing scheme near Kharghar Railway Station and Pedestrian Underpass near Delhi Public School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.” The contract has a completion timeline of 30 months.
J. Kumar Infraprojects was the sole bidder for this project, which will enhance connectivity in the rapidly developing Navi Mumbai region. The company disclosed the contract details confirming that the project does not involve any related party transactions and that promoters or group companies have no interest in CIDCO.
This new contract adds to J. Kumar Infraprojects’ order book as the company continues to expand its infrastructure development portfolio in Maharashtra. The project supports ongoing urban development initiatives in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, particularly connecting key locations in Navi Mumbai.
